I am now 50 years old with many new things to share. On a sad note, my daughter was reported to be dead. When I asked about it, rumors said that she committed suicide because her husband died while working at the factory. I instantly fell into tears and was a very hard time on my family. This event made me hate the way of life people were forced to live. Wanting to change the ways, I pleaded my husband to print out books about my ideas of a more socialist way to live. He said yes in the name of our daughter. Our surroundings have greatly improved however with great new infrastructure and inventions that have been made. My life has been so much easier with the electricity. Thank you Thomas Edison, what a great lad! I am looking forward to the future with the family I have left and want to thank God for being healthy and well

4th Development

Unfortunately I have noticed quite the amount of arguments in the street, mostly pertaining to the factory workers. With my son working as an accountant, he has told me first hand experiences he has witnessed about the tireless works the workers are put to the the imminent dangers that exist in the machinery. He even talked about seeing a child's head cut off! With the population growing, the streets are becoming way too overcrowded for my liking and my son's wages have been suffering. I still support his financial needs however with my husband that is earning good money with his successful book printing company. I haven't heard anything from my daughter in years though and I am fearful for her safety.

3rd Development

Yay, it's been a great time in my family with many reasons to celebrate. My daughter got engaged to that wonderful, handsome fellow. Not only that, my son and my daughter's husband has made great money in their respective jobs of accounting. It's great to see that both my boys are doing fine. What I am displeased with however is the lack of rights us women are given. I have been keeping up my reading, especially those about Emmeline Pankhurst. Even though my husband doesn't agree with me, I will always see the light at the end of the tunnel that someday we will be able to not only vote but receive a public education.

2nd Development

I have some more great news to share with ya'll. First of all, I am so proud of my son who just finished his studies at the university and now is an accountant at a factory in a nearby city. The only thing I am worried about however is the tough working conditions I have heard there was. With the limited pay, I can only stop and worry about how my son is doing. I have realized the realities of the harsh conditions of the factory life.
On a more positive note, my daughter is now following in my footsteps of education. She enjoys teaching and working with kids like myself. She has asked my advice about the young man she is seeing and I must say I'm very happy with her decision. He is so attractive and makes a ton of money. I can't wait for the marriage!!!

1st Development

I have been married for 10 years now and the worst thing just happened to me. My two youngest boys Michael and James just died from hard working conditions and malnutrition. I am very saddened by their losses and have heard many people have also died from these causes. Apart from the bad news, my husband's job has been going fairly well. He prints books such as the bible; therefore, I adhere to my faith in Christianity.
I am now 30 years of age and my oldest child, James, is now coming of age. I am so proud and happy he is doing well in school and is headed off to the university to study law. I am getting worried for Mary though because she is heading towards that age of marriage. Oh will I miss my young children. With the extra free time coming from the death of my two kids, I have been teaching local children to read, and believe that education is key and benefits everyone.

Introduction

Hi my name is Elizabeth and I am the wife of a book printer. I consider to myself to be beautiful with long, elegant blonde hair. I love little children and helping them grow as people. Being from a poor family with ten children, I have always wanted to see more of the world. I am now 25 years of age and I live a moderate life with a steady flow of money and enjoy my lifestyle. Meeting new people are great and I love working with my husbands apprentices and seeing what they do in my off time. I mostly take care of our four kids which consists of 3 boys, James, Michael, and Tom, and 1 girl, Mary. They are all 2 years apart, the youngest being 1 years of age. It is hard work cleaning after their mess and I rely on my husband to provide the money while I look after the
kids and make sure they don't make too much trouble. I am fairly better educated than the norm in my society because I enjoy reading, mostly the books that my husband prints. My one-story house in America is ordinary considering the area I live in with multiple houses looking the same with block on top of blocks. My typical day begins with an early morning to get breakfast prepared for my husband and taking care of the baby. I do all the cooking and house cleaning house cleaning and wash clothes for most of the afternoon and I send my oldest son James to the nearby stores for food occasionally. I work hard to serve my family and want the best for them. Although I wish our economic situation could be better so I can live a more lavish lifestyle, I am still blessed to have a better than average life.
